Thrivent Giving Plus

As you may or may not know, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a fraternal life insurance association formed in 2002 by the merger of Lutheran Brotherhood and Aid Association for Lutherans, making it the largest fraternal benefit society in the nation. LMA is proud and fortunate to be one of the organizations that can receive matching gifts given by Thrivent members. This year we have the added plus of being able to receive additional funding if we have at least 50 donors who participate in the GivingPlus Program by December 1, 2005. Please help us reach this additional goal.

If you own a Thrivent Financial product, you can participate in the GivingPlus Program. How does it work? Thrivent will contribute 50 cents for every dollar you donate up to $600. That means your donation can earn a maximum matching contribution of $300 from Thrivent.

LMA will maintain a record of your donations and will submit the appropriate forms to Thrivent for matching funds contributions. All you need to do is send a completed GivingPlus Application, along with your check, to LMA. We will do the rest!

If you are not already a Thrivent member, you can join the Family Associate Membership Program for only $10 a year. New this year, contributions to LMA made by members in this category will be matched by Thrivent with a maximum donation of $600. (up from $50 last year).
